Jet lag and humidity

From a reader: Getting out of jet-lag also helps with the straight-thinking process.

I found Bangkok hot and humid but not intolerably so, but then I was not out in the heat for any significant length of time at any stage. Thank heavens for air-conditioned buses and buildings!

Bangkok was certainly nicer than Singapore as far as the humidity was concerned, but I think it was supposed to be hotter.

Anyway, I've made it to Romania, and I'm in Ramnicu Valcea. I go onto Timisoara tomorrow morning, about 8 hours on a bus. More news later.
