Flight change

From my travel agent: ... I just need to let you know of a time change on one of your flights.

14 September on Lan Chile flight 600 departing Santiago for Lima you will now depart at 11.15pm and arrive at Lima at 2am on the 15th September. I realise that you are just connecting to this flight from you flight from Rio, but would hate you to miss your connection ! ... [Emphasis added.]

I've made it as far as Timisoara and I'm spending most of my time digging a ditch for a foundation for a workshop at a home for former street girls. I also go to the day centre for the current streetkids on Sunday afternoons, and I helped at a picnic for the streetkids on International Children's Day (which NZ doesn't know anything about) on 1 June. It's amazing how popular I can get when I pull out some animal balloons - the long skinny ones that are twisted into dogs, giraffes, etc.

Last weekend I went back to Ramnicu Valcea to meet the girls there before heading on to Bran (Dracula's Castle) and Brasov for a touristy weekend. I think my work is a lot easier than the work at the orphanages the girls are doing.
