I was going to be teaching the World Vision staff here how to use computers
but apparently they're all on holiday this month, so I've been helping Andy
with the refit of the house that will become a family centre. Maybe next time
I come to Romania I'll get to do some more glamorous and fulfilling work like
at Babeni. :-)
I leave Romania on Sunday now instead of Wednesday because my visa was valid
for 90 days, not three months, and I don't want to pay for an extra month
when I would be using only three days of it. England next stop. Apparently
it's a bit cooler there than here - by ten or twenty degrees.
Multumesc foarte mult to all those people here in Romania who have helped
me during my stay (both locals and volunteers). Without you, working holidays
in Dracula's homeland would simply not exist. Cerbu (one of my hosts during
my stay) has a [supposedly Christian] country song that says "nothing
has changed in this world." You guys are making huge changes and thus
prove the song fundamentally wrong. If Jesus would come down (as the song
says) he would not say that nothing has changed. He would say "Well done,
good and faithful servants." God bless you and your ministries.
Keep those emails coming. Any souvenir requests? (Please bear in mind that
Romania cannot export live Vampires, and I'd like to travel light around South
America.)
La revedere from Romania.
