I've come up with a bunch of modes that should suit a wide range of activities.
Each bank of two paralleled LEDs has four standard modes and a separate
momentary turbo mode. The two banks of LEDs are independently controllable,
combining to give a total 25 modes.
Using the same mode for both banks gives the provisional results below
(pending test results for driver efficiency, parasitic resistance etc).
At very low currents the efficacy of the XP-G falls off. Idle mode is
only about 85% as efficacious as medium (assuming equal driver efficiency).
This probably isn't a problem, but for a future version is there an easy
way of switching off one LED per bank or using PWM?
The figures below are purely theoretical and don't take parasitic resistance
into account (most likely to affect the current the turbo drivers draw).
